About
The Lavender
Suitcase
The Lavender Suitcase is a travel and lifestyle storytelling platform created by Heather, inspired by a love of discovering beautiful places, memorable stays and the experiences that make a destination worth travelling for.
Through photography and short-form content, I capture destinations in a way that feels aspirational but attainable, from beautiful hotels and hidden corners to local food, unforgettable experiences and the little details that tell the story of a place.

MY APPROACH
STORY-DRIVEN TRAVEL
I’m drawn to the details that make a place memorable, the view from a hotel room, a beautiful meal, a quiet street, a local experience or the feeling of discovering somewhere new. My goal is to create content that tells a story, not simply documents a destination.
ASPIRATIONAL, BUT ATTAINABLE
Beautiful travel doesn’t have to feel out of reach. I create content that inspires people to imagine themselves there, discovering the stay, booking the experience or adding a destination to their own suitcase.
CONTENT WITH PURPOSE
Whether I’m creating for a hotel, destination, tour operator or lifestyle brand, I approach each partnership with both the traveller and the brand in mind, creating photography and short-form content that feels natural to my style while showcasing what makes the experience worth discovering.
BEHIND THE SUITCASE

Hi, I’m Heather, the traveller behind The Lavender Suitcase.
Travel has always been about more than checking places off a list for me. I love the moments in between, finding an incredible view, wandering somewhere I didn't expect to find, discovering a beautiful hotel, trying something local, or simply slowing down enough to really experience where I am.
The Lavender Suitcase grew from that love of travel and storytelling. I wanted to create a space where I could share the places, stays and experiences that inspire me, while creating beautiful, useful content that helps others discover what makes them worth experiencing. My perspective is rooted in travel that feels special without feeling inaccessible, the kind of experience that makes you think, I want to go there.
